After a 3 day camping trip to Butano State Park we were headed home to So. Cal., We left early without having breakfast and on the way home decided to look for a place to stop and eat. We found this place on Yelp and everything looked good and it was just down the road from where we were.
We pulled off the freeway and stopped to get a late breakfast. The place is a Mexican restaurant and bakery. We had breakfast and it was great, it was made to order and they had hand made tortillas. We also loaded up on Mexican sweet bread for the road. We often go camping in central and northern California and we now have a great spot to stop and get some great food.
Will definitely be back and highly recommend it if you are driving by King City. -

We stopped for lunch and were pleased to have discovered this little gem. My husband had the pollo burrito and I had the carnitas torta. Both were delicious! We also grabbed a few pastries which also were delicious! We will be back!

Not a fan. My partner said that the patties were good. Not any healthy choices. Coffee was terrible, people were friendly. Perhaps my expectations were too high....

We had lunch here and bought some pastries in mid September on a very warm weekend. Food was great. It is authentic Mexican food. Counter staff were very nice, and patient as we asked what every item in the bakery case was. The one who spoke English was very sweet and helpful.
They have a very large selection of both Mexican and American pastries. The conchas and cinnamon rolls were both good.
Since they are a bakery and have ovens baking the goodies all day, it was pretty warm in the eating area. They turned on a fan for us, which helped. -

Just one tiny bite to try it ... and I'll put the rest of the pastry back in the bag. Well, maybe one more bite. OK, I'm going to eat the whole thing, right now, here in the car.
Outstanding bakery by the side of the road (freeway offramp), unprepossessing exterior, very functional interior and FABULOUS pastries. They use REAL BUTTER in their baking and the pastries have flavor, rather than simply sugar-sweetness. Friendly staff, great selection.
Definitely a hidden gem, and well-worth a visit.
